The Huawei EC6108V8 set top box (STB) of TM UniFi HyppTV comes pre-installed with YouTube app that is not functioning, even though you've successfully make use of WiFi to connect the STB to the Internet.
Anyhow, I've installed YouTube for Android TV version 1.3.8 that can functioning well in the Huawei EC6108V8 STB.
You probably can't find this app in the pre-installed Google Play Store running in the Huawei EC6108V8 STB of UniFi HyppTV. You need to make use of the pre-installed web browser in the STB and visit to the URL below to download and install the YouTube for Android TV app:

I have already updated to YouTube for Android TV 1.3.11 and it works well too.

Hi, I tried downloading this file using the hypptv browser, but it only says "Sorry, Does not support download".

Install other browser into the box, don't use the default browser.
Alternatively, you can download using computer, and transfer the file using USB thumb drive.
already install..can use..but when i search only one preview can be see..please help

Same issue here. All options in the sidebar will only show one preview in the main panel. Searching also only shows one result. Still, more functional than the stock app! Thanks for the help.

Hello all, nice discussion. But I am using G8 quad core for Linux Tv from “Gostreamer”which having features as speed up to 90% faster than Kodi on an Android-based box, 3D graphics along with crystal clear 4K UHD video streaming etc. This may be the solution of your problem.
Try TurboTube v1.01.09_. It works for me.

The latest firmware has already removed the preinstalled Google Play Store and Youtube.
However, you can still use the above method to download and install the Youtube apk.

Is there any way to get apk into a USB drive and then insert into STB and install?
Im first install shareit into hypptv...then to transfer files just through share it lah..to scroll just plugin computer mouse....
