The giant size Jumbo kitchen sink

This is the giant size Jumbo single bowl sink in my kitchen. It is like a double bowl sink without the center divider.

I find this sink more practical and useful than its double bowl counterparts, especially when there are a lot of dishes, pots, pans and woks to wash. Its gigantic volume can fit in all in one go. It is deeper than most double bowl too.

This stainless steel Teka brand Jumbo sink comes with a basket strainer which can be put on top, and covers up half of it. The strainer can fit in both its left hand side and also right hand side.

The only problem with this sink is that, there are some minor scratches on the stainless steel surface after being used for some times.

Hiding washroom inside the wardrobe

Nowadays, most of the house designs are having a washroom inside the bedrooms, this is especially common for the master bedroom.

However, having a washroom inside your bedroom is a very bad idea in feng shui practice. Even disregard the feng shui viewpoints, it doesn't look nice to see the washroom in your bedroom too. Therefore, when I planned for the location of the wardrobe in my master bedroom, I made it to be on same side with the washroom entrance, and hide the washroom inside the wardrobe.

This is a great idea, I think, as most of our friends who entered our master bedroom before were curious to ask: "Does your bedroom has an attached washroom? Where is it?"

Well, this is the custom made wardrobe in my master bedroom. It covers the whole wall surface of one side, and we like it very much.

Make a guess. Where the washroom is hiding in?
Here is it!

In fact, this same wardrobe also hides the entrance to a secret chamber. Guess where is it. Sorry, I won't show you here.

So how about the washroom for the other 2 bedrooms on the same floor? Many double storey houses let the other washroom to be shared by the other 2 bedrooms upstairs, which is also located inside and in between the 2 bedrooms. My house original design has that shared washroom detached from the 2 bedrooms and is located behind the family hall outside the rooms, so I don't have to hide it anyway. If the other bedrooms in your house are having the shared washroom inside the rooms, I think you could probably hiding the entrances with the same wardrobe idea too.

Outdoor motion sensor light

I purchased this motion sensor light for just hundred something ringgit each from the lighting shop.

I installed one set to illuminate my car poach area, and another set at the backyard area.

It's sensitivity can be adjusted. With the light sensitivity switch, I configured it to operate at night, where there is little or no sunlight. There is also a timer switch to set for how long it will illuminate when triggered before turning itself off again.

So how it works? When the lighting environment reaches the preset condition (in my setting, only when lighting is weak, eg. during night time), it will automatically turn on when any motion is detected, and then turn off itself when no more motion is detected after the preset number of time.

With this sensor light in place, whenever I walk out the house during night time, it will automatically light up for me. The same will happen whenever I come back from outside at night. Pretty convenient, isn't it?

It also serves some security functions, as any motion detected during night time will trigger its light on, thus helps to deter bad guy from entering the house compound. You can also link its circuit to your doorbell system, so that your doorbell will chime when it is triggered.
