Auspicious dates for moving to new house/office in 2009

Here is the list of auspicious dates for moving to new house/office in year 2009, which is produced based on the Chinese almanac Tong Shu.

Bear in mind that although the Tong Shu is a compilation of Chinese astrology and calendaring studies gathering wisdom of thousands of years, we should use it wisely and rationally, but not be too superstitious on it.

We plan to just move our stuff only (except the bed)in November 27. Then move our bed on Dec 13 and sleep there until I give birth.

I know its not advisable to move while pregnant but I will not be present during the packing and unpacking. Will be home only after my husband has set up our new place.

I will continue to sleep in the current place until my 9th month. Only go to new place during the day. Can you tell me what you think? or any recommendation?

Also you mention that I let my husband move in first in the the new place before me. Does he sleep in the place on Dec 12 then I move on Dec 13? Also move the bed on Dec 12 right?

I have analyzed the table and noted that 21st Nov '09 (the date we intended to move in to our new house) is not suitable for people born in Rat year (that is my son).

Could you advise another auspicious move in date before the 24th Nov '09 as that's when our current rental lease ends.

Understand that the meaning of moving in is the day when you start to settled in and sleep in, and on the 21st, we will be moving 80% of our things to the new home and my husbamnd mentioned that we will try sleeping in from that night (our rented place is the same block with the new house so it's very convenient for moval).

I doubted that though cos I think we might not have enough time to entirely settle on that day as we also have a wedding to attend on the 21st evening.

The next possible auspicious date is 27th Nov '09 but that will be 3 days after our current lease ends so please kindly advise on the date to move in before 24th Nov and the good hours to move in. Thank you so much :); November 21, 2009 at 12:34 AM

You should avoid carry heavy things or being around when things are shifting in. There should be no sawing, nailing, knocking, painting, ... in the house.

The meaning of 安床 in Tong Shu actually refer to setting up the new bed for marriage couple in their new room, and is part of the lengthy marriage process.

Anyhow, 安床 can also be applied for your case, as the action is referencing to auspicious elements of 天喜、紅鸞、合日、三合、六合、天貴、天德、月德, particularly if both of you are planning for a baby...

Some auspicious dates in Dec 2009 for 安床 for you are:

11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 31.

Anyhow, there is no particular bad element that affect moving too much.

But beware of the presence of 往亡, it is very inauspicious for: returning home from outstation or long travel. It might have some sort of effect on you if you are moving to a far away place that you need to travel at least half a day to reach.; December 16, 2009 at 9:56 PM

It is difficult to translate those name of elements.

Even the word "element" is translated by me, which the direct translation is actually mean "God", but this "God" used in Tong Shu has no relationship with any religion, and basically is refering to a kind of "influencing power" or "force from universe".

You can regard each of them as one kind of element, either categorised in the group of good or bad.
