Auspicious dates for renovation in 2014

Here is the list of auspicious dates for renovation in year 2014, which is produced based on the Chinese almanac Tong Shu. (Click the image to enlarge)



Bear in mind that although the Tong Shu is a compilation of Chinese astrology and calendaring studies gathering wisdom of thousands of years, we should use it wisely and rationally, but not be too superstitious on it.

    There are 2 types of construction work in Tong Shu.

    One is the ground work (动土), another is the construction after ground work (造屋).

    Which month do you want to check?

    I plan to renovate bathrooms located in SE & E sector of the house. If I choose to commence the renovation work on 13 Jan 2014, when will be the good time ?

    Is 7 Jan 2014 not suitable to commence any renovation work at the 2 sectors ?

    Auspicious times for 13 January 2014:

    12am - 3am
    7am - 11am
    3pm - 7pm


    7 January 2014 is neutral for renovation.

    Hi

    We are looking to commence building our house this year, could you give me some good dates to begin construction. I have been told that on the auspicious day, we will need to personally attend the work site with the shovel to break ground, is that true? Many thanks!

    I should also say that I'm born in the year of the Dog and my husband is the year of the Monkey. My mother will eventually live with us and she is the Year of the Rabbit. Thanks!

    need to move in from 22 to 25 April 2014.Which day is good.I'm monkey and my wife dog.

    Just took key and like to start renovation by installing curtain first.

    Only curtain contractor will be at home carrying out the job, owners will not be at home. Please advise if 18 Jul 14 is a good date and time
