Auspicious dates for ground-breaking of new building construction in 2014

Here is the list of auspicious dates in year 2014 for ground-breaking ceremony (动土) of new building construction. It is produced based on the Chinese almanac Tong Shu. (Click the image to enlarge)


Bear in mind that although the Tong Shu is a compilation of Chinese astrology and calendaring studies gathering wisdom of thousands of years, we should use it wisely and rationally, but not be too superstitious on it.

    I do have a couple of questions:

    a) are these auspicious dates good for all Zodiacs, or does every auspicious date have an exception?
    b) And I assume that any time would be good to break ground on that auspicious day?

    Affecting factors include the zodiac, direction and time of the day.

    Oh, thank you! I will find out in the next month or so, so I will contact you when I find out (we need to get bank loan, etc). I think it will be either April, May or June though.

    Many thanks for your advice thus far. We are looking at starting to build in late March/April. Could you advise if any of those dates you have advised would not be good for the Monkey, Dog and Rabbit?
